Stock holder option to jump in line

Did any of you take the option to jump to the head of the line because you own TSLA stock? I was tempted. $100k is about my limit but I really want a Cyberbeast for that money and not an AWD. The Foundation series markup is too high for me but it would be so much fun to have a Cybertruck now-ish while they are still so rare. It will probably be 2025 before my res number comes up.

I have been checking the various sites and no one seems to have received the next steps memo. Messages relayed advise applicants to wait for further definition. It will be interesting to know how far up the line one gets placed.

my reservation is from 12/3/2019 and I submitted my stock shares and have heard nothing….only reason I’m trying to even jump the line is my wife’s Y performance lease is up July and I was going to give her my plaid x and take the cybertruck beast for myself!

I didn't think there were this many individual investors holding ~$85k of TSLA. If you've invested this much in the company then you probably deserve first dibs on the CT.

I submitted my shareholder paperwork a week ago. I ordered CT 12/28 for a Jan - Mar Delivery.

Went to both CT Events. 5 time owner. Blah blah blah...

All to say, I'm IN the line and can't even get a VIN. LOL

I called and was asked if I gave my $1000.00 deposit yet. I told them I was never asked for one and they told me that would be my next step in the process.

I prefer to wait until the quality improves instead paying a penalty to be first.

Not only will that penalty be increase by depreciation, it will also hurt more when the inevitable price decreases come next year or sales to bump demand.

I'm waiting as well but I'm still jealous of the people getting theirs now. I have a 2020 Model Y performance and by being first, missed out on a bunch of features such as heated steering wheel, longer range, double paned glass, and many more. I still love it however and just keep reminding myself it will be worth the wait
