So I noticed earlier today that my Tesla License Plate Frame (the one that comes with your new car) was missing. There is no way it could have fallen off by itself, so some idiot actually unscrewed my license and frame, took off the frame, and put my license back. It was a bit annoying at first, but now I laugh at the low life who actually did it. What could he/she do with it? Put it on their non-Tesla vehicle?

Luckily my road trip passes a service center, and I was able to get another one. Excellent Tesla service!

That really is a strange theft. Maybe someone you know did it as a joke and it will turn up on your birthday cake or something.

Ha ha! I can think of a few cities that more than the license plate frame would be gone. You are a lucky guy! I am in San Rafael. Where did this happen?

That's funny, my car came without that shinny license plate holder, I was a bit annoyed at first, but then found some idiot parked and took it off and put it on my car.

Yes, this was really strange to me, having just the frame stolen. I don't know exactly when this happened, but most likely when I was parked at the Venetian in Vegas. Maybe it was a pack of idiots on a dare?

Pffft, in my day kids would just pry emblems off cars with screwdrivers.

When I picked up my MS from the Fremont factory last Saturday we noticed a car that had the Tesla emblem pried off. Let's hope that doesn't become a "thing."

This would be a good distinction to make. That said, there's a reason why that Flying Lady hood ornament now retracts when the car is parked.

The T "hood ornament" was gone and there was a significant amount of trauma around the edges of where it should have been. I'm speculating that it was pried off, but I honestly don't know for sure.

ETA: to be clear it wasn't my car, but I still felt sympathy pains for the owner.
