Subtle high pitch sound when accelerating or regen - possibly caused by aftermarket speaker?

I dont know if this is a coincidence or not, but right now theres a subtle high pitch sound when i accelerate around 50kw up or regen above 50kw.. i recently did an aftermarket sound upgrade. could the sound be coming out of the speakers? its very subtle, but enough of an annoyance to know its there when no music is on.

Didn't notice it before because music was always on. but when i have it on silent now I know its there.

Sounds as if your aftermarket may not have enough filtering. Some chokes on the DC lines may help. Also, dependent on what it is, some of the speaker lines may be running to close to some of the motors.

Consider taking your car in for servicing- my model S similar noise and it needed a dive train replacement. It was a no charge event, BTW.

the thing is i'm almost fairly certain its coming from the speakers and not the DU. Taking back to audioshop today to find out
