Suing Tesla in small claims court in California

I'm thinking of suing tesla for refund of my deposit. I got into situation where the tesla store employees said they would process my refund within 3-5 days. Its been 2 months now.
I would appreciate if anyone can write step by step how they sued Tesla in small claims court. Especially initially if you wrote a letter and if yes, can you please share address of their legal department?

I paid with credit card and disputed the charge. They just reversed it yesterday saying saying tesla has nonrefundable policy so they can't do anything.

Agreed. It’s a Noted Non refundable Order fee not a deposit fee. Good luck getting that back. Shop smarter.

It's sad but this happens often where employees aren't held accountable for telling you b/s. I've had it happen to me multiple times with Tesla especially.

This is like sinking $20 in quarters into one of those claw machines to win a $1 teddy bear.

It wasn't a deposit, it was a non-refundable order fee, very clearly stated at payment time. It's not even buried in the fine legal print.

The poster didn't say if he went through with the purchase or if he cancelled the order. If he purchased the car then the $250 should have been taken off the price of the car. Maybe it wasn't and why he wants to sue.
