Well, ol' Sol is getting strong in Pensacola again. Any suggestions on a windshield sunshade? I've had good luck with Weathertech but wondered if there might be something more popular with the Teslerati. Thanks for your help.

Best thing IMO is getting the windshield tinted with the nearly clear film. You can’t tell it’s tinted except for the glare and heat reduction.Well, ol' Sol is getting strong in Pensacola again. for parking I like and use the Folding Ultimate Windshield... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CYGJ1TB?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
This is the same sunshade I got last year and it worked great for me. Easy to put up and take down - took a little getting used to maneuvering it inside the car without banging things the first few times due to the size of it.Best thing IMO is getting the windshield tinted with the nearly clear film. Tint the windshield. I have a great installer but doubt you're going to want to make the drive to Lee County.
I got this one and it's amazing. High quality construction, premium look and feel. Well worth it, imo. https://www.covercraft.com/us/en/product/uvs100-custom-sunscreen.UV
Had one of these for my *cough* Prius. Plan to order one here shortly for the Model 3.We've had 1 of these in both our M3's and love them. Perfect fit and they roll up quickly. My sons have the folding types of sunshades and we find that to be more of a hassle. link below

No need to feel embarrassed about this. I also had a Heatshield for my Prius and it lasted the entire 17 years I owned the car without any sign of wear. This time around, I decided I wanted something that folds up more compactly than the rolled up Heatshield. I got one of those springy shades that I can twist up into a 12" or so disk and tuck under the seat. It doesn't block as much heat as the foam-layered Heatshield, but I was just looking for something to block direct sunlight from hitting the dashboard and touchscreen while letting the Model 3's climate system keep the cabin from getting too hot.Had one of these for my *cough* Prius. AMEN!Another vote on just tinting the front windshield. The benefit is that when you're driving, it'll actively reject heat as well, plus depending on the %, it would also help reduce glare at night time. Got it done on my S and 3, and will always tint future vehicles as well.
