So, today it's starting to look like the final stage. When I asked one worker if it would be live today, he said no, but he could have just been saying that to get rid of me. (Can't blame him for that!!) There was a cement truck arriving as I pulled in and that might imply a bit more work to accomplish. But, it seems the stalls are all in, striping has been completed, and the fences removed. We're close.

Here now. 250 kW V3. 8/16 already. 2x disabled 14 other stalls.

Update:I 12/16 now

Update 4pm. Car stall net to me.said workers told him it was just turned on 30 mins ago. He said he navigated to a Closed Service Supercharger but was active by the time he got there.

The charger is busy now... This just shows how high the demand is. My battery was not that empty at 50% SOC so I only got 71 kW.... On my M3 LR.

Update 4:10 pm - Done charging. 12/16 in use!!!!!!

This might be a dumb question, but for these new locations, are all of the spots V3? Or are only some of them V3? If it’s only some, is there a visual difference between V2 and V3 so I don’t unnecessarily block a V3 spot if I won’t get any benefit?

They are all V3. Usually for mixed sites.. i.e. Hawthorne SpaceX charger, the V3 will have a sign on top of each charger that says 250 kW

These would be awesome for Disneyland tourists, but I imagine they will be crammed with locals especially with their rare high speed charging in an urban area. Maybe Tesla will work out deals with theme park operators some day when cars can be moved via Smart Summon after charging.

Wow that was fast build out. Maybe Santa Ana can finally see some relief.

Having a deal with CVS or Walgreen and put just two or four stations at every CVS or Walgreens like ChargePoint does now, that will be optimal.

now that M3 have to pay for SC, is it still cheaper than EVgo DC chargers?
