As Promised, here are photos I took this morning.

The first two photos show where it was thought the 11 pedals would go. As you can see this is now unlikely. The land that was beyond the parking lot pavement was removed. The grade was lowered to add more parking to the hotel lot level. there is now a steep sloping bank right up to the edge of the existing lot.

The new parking lot expansion added a 7 vehicle space here and what appears to be a new drive-thru or pull around lane behind it.

The Concrete pad area in the background make me Speculate the SuC pedestals may go here.

I’m only guessing at this point. Time will tell.

07/28/23 Update: I stopped by this evening just after a major storm cell had passed. A lot of standing water including a small pond that formed on the North side of the suspected SuC parking area.

After looking at this image I noticed something interesting in the background.

The Dealership in the background has a single Charge Point L2 EVSE and Solar on the Roof of the building.

This is the approximate location of the Parking pad area behind the Culvers. Also Culvers has closed its original two drive-thru lanes and are using the New Drive-thru lane configuration.

9/1/23 Update: The only notable change is the addition of vertical curbing on the North edge of the parking pad. I decided to go into Culvers for some food and had a quick chat with the employee who delivered my order. I asked if the parking area extension was all Culvers. She said, yes. I asked when it was expected to to finished. She said, Next Summer. I asked if she new when the Tesla chargers were expected to go in. She wasn’t sure, but said, there have been folks working in the area where the chargers will go. She also said the big parking lot area may be used as is till it gets paved. This could mean the Tesla charging stalls could be usable without waiting for full completion of the Lot.

After I took the photos last night, I drove down the side street east of the location for a different view perspective. I was surprised to see lots of conduit sticking out of the ground already. It looks like the 3 SuC cabinets will be at the NE end of the parking area based on conduit grouping, I also noticed trenching along side the west end of the parking area. I’m just guessing there will be 1 pull-in stall. I’ll know for sure next week. I’ll try to update this thread weekly until it’s open.

10/6/23 Update: We have a Transformer, Meter Housing (no meter), 2 of 4 Light poles installed ( only 2 were onsite as of my previous visit) and the Gravel areas around the curbing and parking pad have been brought up to grade level. Just a reminder the Culvers employee I spoke to about a month back said, the entire lot Paving was not expected till late spring or summer of 24. Per Tesla Find us the Q4/23 target would indicate it will be operational before paving is completed. the leveling up of gravel base is an indication of this.

Overall, the site is pretty well cleand up. Only a few things remain. Portable Toilet, Skid steer, panel’s stacked near it and Fencing.

10/13/2023 update: We have a Meter installed and some power at the light pole for the Pull -Thru stalls. Something interesting I noticed when I saw the light on, was that It was fairly dim. As I approached to take some photos the light increased brightness level substantially. Kinda nice to see the use of smart technology. Only One of the Two installed lights was ON. Still waiting for two additional light poles to be delivered and installed.

10/20/23 Update: The fence is down and site cleared. The contractor moved the skid loader and fencing panels to the back of the gravel lot. When I arrived at the site both light poles were off. As I walked up to look things over each light came on independently with motion sensing. I’m not sure if the 2 remaining light pole foundations are part of the Tesla installation or the larger parking area. If they are not Tesla we shouldn’t need to wait for those to be completed to commission the site.
