Supercharger - Coeur d'Alene, ID (LIVE Feb 2015, 6 V2 + 8 V3 stalls)

We too would like to get to Minnesota and waiting for the I84 route to be completed. Has anyone attempted going from The Dalles to Ritzville in a 85? It looks like a SC somewhere in the Tri Cities area should be coming in 2015.

I went that way last April (just before Good Friday).

Thanks for the kind words. I've been asked to be somewhat circumspect in what I share on the forums, but I did put out notes today to the people I know on the supercharger team as well as our local hotel owner. It would be helpful for many to have this buttoned up in time for the Custer rally in May.

Not hard to find.
Exit !-90 at exit 12 and head north on US95.
Go 0.6 miles and turn left onto Neider Rd.
The Supercharger is in the parking lot of the Golden Corral. Accessible through the main parking lot or via Fruitland Ln.

Should be working next week (sadly I can't test it since my 85D won't get here until May ).

All hooked up! Installation complete.
I talked with the City inspector this morning at the site and now we are just awaiting the final inspection by the Tesla guys to flip the switch. Supposed to be next week.

Sheridan and Gillette seem stalled again. No progress with getting them sited at the local hotels that are owned by a willing Model S owner. Cottonwood has spearheaded a campaign to get Destination Charging or crowd-sourced HPWCs in Sheridan, Gillette and Casper here...

Very strange to hear that there is a willing property owner and yet still have issues with getting sites planned/permitted.

Great news on CdA though! Was hoping it would go live in Feb but March is cool too.

Any news on someone testing the Coeur D'Alene connection? I'm planning on driving out Seattle to Butte, MT on 3/13 and depending on which car we choose, mine or my girlfriend's ICE, depends on this location's readiness.
