@corywright I-40 in Arkansas getting a little love. Removes the huge diversion off the highway to visit the Little Rock supercharger that is way on the other side of town. Now will be able to go directly from Brinkley to Conway or vice versa.

As someone who has frequently relied on the Little Rock 150kW supercharger to get to Branson, FINALLY!

More importantly (for us) on I-40 , charging in Memphis means we can skip Brinkley (Westbound) and a top-up in Conway (Eastbound) means we can skip Brinkley.

@corywright I found the permit for this site and it appears there will be 12 stalls. Permit was approved on 11/6/24.

Based on what I’ve read over the years on this forum - even some dedicated threads - this fills a big need for lots of Arky residents who commute long ways.

The drive from Little Rock to Springfield is just a tad scary for a 6 year old X100D. Now just add one close to Branson and we'll be cookin' though this removes some anxiety.
Branson is on Tesla's to-do list. I would wager you'll see it in 2024.
The locals would definitely appreciate more superchargers, but there's also a lot of interstate travelers that would really benefit from more chargers here.
FWIW, that's the wrong lot.
It's going in on the dirt lot in that image (parking lot now, Rock & Roll Sushi, 5 Guys being put in there as well). I believe it's going where the red is in this picture.

Seems like "Lewis Ranch" is the overall development.
Conway to Branson would be around 145 miles. Harrison, AR would be a better splitter of that gap, although clearly people want Branson, MO for other reasons.

But honestly, Branson is a destination and people will probably be doing a lot of driving around that area and want a supercharger so they can stay at places that don't have destination charging. I think ...
I'd rather have destination charging.
