This is so needed. Can’t wait to have this live since I can’t charge at home and I only live 1 block away! Gonna save my life. I asked the construction guys when it will be ready and they said they don’t know. Recommended I call Tesla but the call time was over 20 mins so maybe I’ll try again later.

I can't wait for this to open. Just got my TM3 yesterday and this is 15 mins from home and on the way to/from work. Work charger is free but only charges 22mi/hr. No charger in apartment complex.

They really need to have superchargers in SF. Financial district or SOMA would be perfect for me. I would even take Emeryville.

I wish it was possible to contact the person who was doing this. They can be added by individuals and there is no vetting by Google. I don't know why people do it, the Tesla nav automatically includes all superchargers and destination chargers. There is a risk that someone may get stranded going to one of these inactive sites.

That means next to nothing. As @Chuq noted, someone probably reported this location to Google.

On Tesla’s Find Us web page this location is not open.

Stopped by this site yesterday. All the Supercharger stations are installed, however the power plants that will power the chargers are still not installed and the cables are not connected to the stations.

Spoke to someone at Tesla Burlingame - they mentioned that they are waiting for permits so that they can start connecting the power. Probably another 2-3 weeks from now.

Yea after permits they gotta do the interconnection request, have PG&E come out and inspect it. I'm sure they have to program the stations too.

I can't wait to have this open but there's going to be so many people charging here.

We need to petition city governments relentlessly to get street side charging. L3 charging is not a viable solution if we want >50% of people driving electric....

Don't need much. 8A at 240v is PLENTY.... and 8A is nothing.

Not yet. Just follow this thread...based on other Superchargers, someone will post the good news within hours (maybe within minutes) of the chargers going live.

Probably a good thing since it's less likely they will get ICEd when it requires driving to an out of the way location.
