Supercharger - Denison, TX

You know you can make the Tulsa, Dallas trip now, and have been able to with a Stop in McAlester for 30-40 minutes on CHAdeMO, we have two Tesla Adapters available too.

Ok, I looked at the Francis Energy website and I see the one on the Turnpike ... must be at the "new" rest stop I guess

I also see two in Henryetta

What I don't see though is how much a charge will cost at those stations

(I also don't see anything about adapters for Teslas)


Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to see them, but I need a little more info please

Use EvGateway for pricing. The App will also include a charging station downtown McAlester called OK Lawn and Pest. Great little place. I've always brought my own but they have CHAdeMO available.

For those more knowledgeable than me on the area, am I good to plan on doing the Denison to Tulsa (Catoosa) trip in a stealth performance Model 3? Looks like I'd be cutting it close on range based on ABRP routing.

Nope you should be great head up 75 to the indian nation turnpike. should only be 200 miles between chargers

Nope you should be great head up 75 to the indian nation turnpike. should only be 200 miles between chargers

Thank you for the info. Just as you said, no issues making the drive. Charged to 100% on the preceding charger (took a nap as it was 1am, so not a concern for me to allow the extra charging time) just to remove any doubt.

I’m traveling through here and the car navigation said Denison has limited service. Does anyone know if they’re offline? This is going to put me in a bind as I’m traveling from Tulsa and can’t make it any farther.

Limited service might imply places to get something to eat or use the restroom. Not necessarily charging

So normally I’d think that. But I was there last week and I didn’t get this notice. And when you click the charger it shows 0 available. Plus there were concrete cutters - I wonder if they hit an electric line?

I’ll stop by, but luckily I have a CCS adapter backup!

Wow, what a terrible way to alert people. It looked like the ENTIRE station was offline!!
