I agree with all of that (I live very close to it). That doesn't mean it's not a location BCM might push for.

Yeah still doesn't solve the access issues. The mall is really strange too because it has that perimeter road that has another half perimeter road. It is just confusing and isn't obvious where it is at from the main road. Plus getting the right exit, in traffic, to go the right direction is a pain.

On my road trip I found the mall stop we made was the least desirable. I preferred the strip mall locations that had a couple restaurant pads.

For road trip locations, non-hotel 24x7 locations are winners in my mind.

Personally I find the Brodie/ 290 / Mopac areas much more difficult to navigate and traffic is worse than the mall.

I do think a north and a south location in Austin would free the i35 one for actual travelers. So I don’t see I35 access as a big issue. Of course I’m usually wrong
