Supercharger - Dunedin & Nelson

Two new Supercharger sites, Dunedin and Nelson have popped up in the South Island today with a target of Q3 2024. Interestingly, at the time of this post, Dunedin is still an option to vote for on the "Vote for a Supercharger" poll.

So exciting. I usually hire a Model 3 when I am visiting family in Clutha. Would love to see it in Dunedin!

Interesting to see if these are accurate pins, like previous NZ ones:

Dunedin is in the car park of an electrical contractor, but is about 5 mins walk from a number of food outlets.

Nelson appears to in the car park of a Mitre 10, which is an odd choice, but there are one or two food/beverage places in the complex and also what appears to be a large vacant site undergoing earthworks on the other side.

Nelson site is close to the Car museum which has a good cafe as well.

Visiting Dunedin and thought I’d drive past - zero work done on the proposed site. Lots of car parking that could be turned into a site but nothing has started, no fences, no excavation so impossible to even take a picture of where it might go.

They generally go up pretty quick, so I wouldn't expect to see work starting until around August/September if they stay on schedule.
