They're effectively waiting for Ameren to run the high voltage lines to the site and to place the main transformer.

In Road Tripper's photos, the main switching equipment is on the left, but the extended cabinet in front is for information exchange. The smaller cabinet on the left of the front cabinets is for controlling the 4 level 2 J1772 chargers that are going in.

Is this something new, LVL 2 chargers installed at SCers. Who pays for the electricity? If free I bet locals will drop off their car for a few hours (or longer) to fill up.

Not new. The Lombard, IL has several level 2 chargers as well.

5 Ameren trucks here today. Transformer installed. Power connection in progress.

Looks like Ameren finished yesterday. The meter has been installed and power is on. Now we just need Tesla to commission.

Power is on. Level 2 chargers still have plastic bag covers. I didn’t try them. The site doesn’t show on the navigation screen yet. May be power limited. I would expect a higher charging rate for this SOC and temperature
