Supercharger - Fremont, CA - 39201 Fremont Blvd (Fremont Hub, LIVE 27 Apr 2018, 12 V2 stalls)

As I remember, both Superchargers in Sunnyvale and Fremont hub are meant to be open in the end of 2017 according to Tesla website last year. Right now the Sunnyvale one has opened recently, but Fremont Hub is still not. Really hope it can open soon.

Have patience. Many of us generally view those dates as aspirational. There are often factors in a Supercharger deployment that are outside Tesla's control (in particular, inspections and utility hookup).

Stopped by yesterday and took some photos. Looks like there is an incomplete subpanel / underground wiring that needs to be installed, but hey I could be wrong.

Agreed. I just had to try for myself, and nothing is turned on. Looms like it's missing the final inspection and then should be good to go.

Haha, snow is really good here, will stick to the plan. Tried out Rocklin Supercharger station on the way up, real nice. Will try Roseville on the way back. You guys enjoy the opening days, hopefully in just a few days.

If you've been around the Tesla world long enough, you know the opening dates for Superchargers can be pretty unpredictable, often for reasons beyond Tesla's control. Some linger in "almost complete" state for weeks or months, while others appear as if by magic. It's completely possible that Fremont Hub will open after you get back from your trip.

Went by today, chargepoints are powered down and tape on the supercharger handles still. Looks pretty much complete though. Fence, lighting, pavement, landscaping all look done.

PG&E was onsite this morning, installing in cabinet and underground wiring near the enclosures.

It may be a bit more for this site. Wiring install and city inspection...

I believe that PG&E does not install the transformer until everything else in the installation has passed inspection. I'm guessing it will open "soon".
