Slightly off topic, but a WI question
Anyone know how to long term rent Teslas in north WI/Wausau?
I’ll be that area for six months and will need a Tesla
Any ideas is appreciated.

Usually, they mount them on a Stand-alone cabinet near the Transformer. Like Waukesha or Lake Delton. It seems like there is no set standardization though. I’ve seen them on White,Silver and Green switch cabinets along with 2-post mount boards.

Waukesha, meter box was mounted on its Green cabinet back in December. Five months before the transformer showed up.

It happened.
But not done yet. Need Tesla power up, testing, more dirt (landscaping) and parking lines.

I wasn’t doubting the WE energies truck at the site. Just the part about an actual Meter installation. Should have asked the guy if he knew anything about the Waukesha location.

Yeah, FB post didn’t show the meter but said they talked to the tech who was installing it saying they’d have it installed that day..

Hard to say. The Lake Delton site was open before the finish landscaping was completed (leveling and reseeding grass).

The installation contractor usually Subs out Landscaping and any ongoing maintenance locally,if required. Things like watering any trees or shrubs until they are fully established. If it’s just minimal stuff that doesn’t need any ongoing maintenance, they typically do that themselves.

The parking lines have been painted, and new asphalt has been poured. It appears they just have to remove fencing & debris, and then flip the switch.

I can't see the meter from outside the fencing. But, supposedly, a WE Energies guy said it was being installed a couple weeks ago.

In some places, like here in Maine there isn't necessarily a visible meter. Here it's lock in a box, since they read remotely anyway.

Pedestal 3B has the signage on top facing the wrong side. It should say, up to 250KW like the next stall to the right. LOL

Nah Waukesha is out of the way for me. Surely there's gotta someone closer by in the thread for that one.
