Excellent! That's consistent with an email from the Tesla SuperCharger team that S.Grot posted to Tesla's forums on April 9th, which included:
"... The site is under construction and we hope to open the station around the end of this month. ..."
Maybe we'll get really lucky and the crew will head down to Laurel, MD next week?

I think end of this week is tight, given all the testing, etc, but it's quite possible. It will definately be done by next week, pending any issues.
Lets hope they do the new 'paint job' on the paving.

There are three approvals needed. The Utility to turn on the power for testing, the inspecting agency to certify the electrical work (depending on juristiction), and Tesla to say all the programming is correct and all the parts work. The utility is quick, generally, they normally care to the transformer (their property anyway) and then to the meter. They let the inspecting agency (electrical work) do the inspection. In most places, the inspection agency is quick as well, some places however, it can be 'slow'.
Is this something official from Tesla, or did you the TMC meetup we've been bouncing around for a couple weeks?
