Completely off topic, but when I worked for Intel back in the early 2000s, Boerne was the code name for one of the processors.
Glad to see another SC go up where its needed.

Can anyone that is out that way, upload some pictures where the location is in relation to the rest of parking lot. It is a really big, and busy parking lot, I was hoping it was going to be somewhat near the local coffee.

I drove by yesterday evening. Construction is underway in earnest with a lot of activity along with digging, multiple runs of wiring being stretched out on on top of pavement.

It means the accessibility review of the construction plans is complete. When the construction is done and the accessibility field inspections are done the status will become "Project Closed". Which means the project file has been closed.

Drove by yesterday around 8pm and not too much has changed, but there are now some beefy cables coming out of the in-ground conduit that you can see in the other pictures. Progress!

Looks better than when I drove by couple days ago. For a week you could see that people were working but progress wasn’t apparent. Good to see that progress is actually visible now!

It will take the power company at least that long to install the transformer after all contractor crews have left, then at least that long again just to get the meter prior to inspections etc
My estimate based on the last three or four in Texas - minimum two to three month at the earliest, more likely four to six months.

Sounds good to me. I'm just happy to see that the San Antonio area will finally have more than one stop for Super Charging! Thanks for the info!

That's not what happened at the first location in SA. Is Leon Springs also served by CPS? Hopefully this one will be just as fast.

Indeed it is. CPS pretty much “owns” SA energy-wise

Since it looks like they're moving fast on Leon Springs, maybe they'll move over to Selma and start that one next!

And they are moving fast. There was a work detail out there all day on Sunday so something must be important that they want this complete soonest.
