A few weeks ago I talked to someone who has a relative who works for the city and he said it might be “a few more weeks” but that’s been 3-4 weeks since then unfortunately.

Since the last set of pictures, transformers are in place and meters are on the switch gear cabinets, but it's still not live.

Well! Update as of today…the zip ties are taken off. The ChargePoint station says active online, so I figured I’d try out the Tesla SC. No dice Still not active. BUT…I used my adapter and jumped onto the ChargePoint station. It’s slow, but free for 2 hours (provided per the property owner, Target).

Another SC along the historic Lincoln Highway - now more or less US 30 in Illinois. It is also midway between where the earlier and later alignments of historic Route 66 crossed the LH - in Joliet and Plainfield respectively. (The LH began between NYC and San Francisco in 1913. Route 66 between Chicago and Santa Monica CA in 1926.) @Lanny

I’m here using it now and it was strange because the first one I tried to use ( either 2D or 3A?) it was like the made the handle too big. My car wouldn’t take it and kept saying error. so I moved to 1B and fortunately it worked.

I’m using 3D right now here and it worked ok…the other one last night was really weird. Someone else on here please try that and see what I’m talking about sometime
