My guess is that the contractors to pull out the Bethesda SC have already been booked and have a date, so Tesla needs Laurel up before then.

yes and I bet this design is less likely to be ICEd

+1 @bhzmark: ICE drivers are used to refueling stations being on the side of the car, so this "looks" more like a gas pump to them.

But also helpful to owners with the new Tesla bike rack installed. I hope they ensure more pull-in stalls in future deployments!

BUT HERE'S WHAT I ALSO DID.............I SPOKE TO THE OWNER OF THE NEW JERSEY CONTRACTING SERVICE AND HE WAS AWESOME!!!! He told me on Saturday that the Telsa covers would be installed either Tuesday or Wednesday!!!!!

The lines are better than the 4 stalls at Newark.

Speaking of Newark, it's down, meaning that we REALLY are hurting by not having Laurel live yet. It's 205 miles from Hamilton Marketplace to Woodbridge, and Woodbridge is pretty far out of the way if your day trip destination is the Maryland side of DC. I'm expecting the temporary SuperCharger in Bethesda to be absolutely slammed.
