Are you guys that ready and desperate to pay 58 cents a kWh? Lol
Free lifetime. So yeah. That ready!I still have 15,000 free miles left that expire mid next year. This will be the closet charger to me, when complete, by far. Also I pass this area every week or two.
So yeah kind of big deal for me; at least until my free miles expire.
Can’t speak for other.
Yes, there's still a huge gap of superchargers around this area. Even though I live in LB, the closest to me is still Torrance.Thanks. I see it in the Tesla app under location now.
If we can get the one in Lakewood up and running sometime we’ll help to fill in the giant black hole of no chargers still left.

Lol I'm at Torrance now. Had to drive to warner Ave fountain valley charger the other early morning to top off. Barely made it with 2% left.Yes, there's still a huge gap of superchargers around this area. Even though I live in LB, the closest to me is still Torrance.
Yep. The circles just keep getting smaller and smaller as the map fills in!Closest to me previously was Westminster and then Cerritos. But both are still quite a while of time.
It's interesting to see how they are closing the circle though. I remember looking at this same map 1 and 2 years ago when the same circle was present just larger.
I count 20 stalls and live @bmah
It's not. But updating the database at the Tesla mothership is part of the commissioning process for the Tesla tech that goes out to get the site activated. So, assuming everything went to plan, it doesn't take long for that to trickle down to the cars' navigation system display. There is some lag though, and sometimes the updating process doesn't work correctly and there can be a slightly more significant delay.Another said as soon as it’s energized it will show up in car UI. I didn’t realize that it was simultaneous.
Key is off peak charging. Which isn’t that much more than SCE TOU charges. Are you guys that ready and desperate to pay 58 cents a kWh? Lol

I try to charge before noon to max green juice. That too, esp when my free miles expire. I’m a night person. Even on the rare occasion I charge at home I don’t start till 10PM and finish / stop by 8 AM, even on weekend.
They do, but the car doesn't pull DB updates as frequently and it's vehicle specific as each car has to pull the update for itself, so some cars may show it already while others won't yet.Interesting it shows in the app but not in the car. You would think that both of those would pull from the same place, esp as they both pull live availability.
I wonder if the app is a place holder. Still says 19/20 available this AM?Interesting it shows in the app but not in the car. You would think that both of those would pull from the same place, esp as they both pull live availability.
