I found a new supercharger under construction in Mishawaka. Western corner of the Meijer parking lot.

This was part of the Q4 leak back in 2022 and I've been watching for construction to begin. Gonna be a huge improvement over the old Mishawaka SC.

It appears that this was listed as a “Permit” site on supercharge.info, but this is pretty clearly under construction, correct?

Stopped by over the weekend. The transformer and meter are in place, but the power was off. Looks like it will be at least a few more weeks.

It doesn't appear to be magic dock unfortunately.
On the flip side, we have power, bollards and fence in place. I'd stay opening the location is imminent.

The construction fence has been removed. Plugged in, but could not activate and the meter shows 0. Possibly pending final inspection.

Interesting wasn't in the app for me on Sunday when I looked but I see it now!

Poor location for people traveling on the toll road. On/off is so far from the exits, which is the same problem for the original site at the UP Mall. Great for locals, but does that area really need 12 (18 with the UP mall)??? Maybe Tesla thinks ND alumns all own Teslas!

The old 6-stall Mishawaka supercharger has been surprisingly busy and I often has a short wait during peak times.
It must be used by locals, as the toll road has 8-stall V3 supercharger locations east and westbound in all 4 travel plazas. Is simply does not make sense for someone to exit at Notre Dame, drive 15 min in city traffic and then drive all the way back, when they can just pull over at a travel plaza.
