Confirmed with the town, It’s a Tesla supercharger.

Showing as being approved or started construction as of 3/2/2018, North Brunswick NJ location. 301 Grand Av. The location looks to be just south of the Rte 1/Rte 130 split with at least a Costco nearby, a Panera Bread, perhaps more to come. Via Google Maps satellite image, looks like whenever the image was captured, lots of excavation for retail eveident

That's where the North Brunswick station is going to be built.

Currently a majority of the site looks like it's under development (has been like that for some time)

I have been out to this location several times and it looks like everything is installed, however
I believe the utility has not provided power yet. This is a completely new mall and soon to be
train station so a lot more construction to be done here.

Definitely a great location. Hopefully once they open the Tesla store on Route 1 in Lawrence, they'll bring a supercharger down that way too. Heard rumors of a supercharger possibly in Princeton but haven't been able to confirm yet....

Has anyone checked the site today?? Several SuperChargers in the Northeast went live in the past couple days (Kennebunk, ME, Mansfield, MA, Framingham, MA, Yonkers, NY). Hoping to see this one go live as well.

I'm hoping too, but going live seems to be dependent on the utility. With the heat, they are probably just trying to keep the lights (and AC) on, and staying in AC as much as possible themselves.
