Supercharger - Oakley, KS

I reached out to the Oakley City Administration—nothing is finalized yet, but it’s anticipated that the Supercharger in Oakley will be next to the Sonic, similar to Russell.
Went by the Sonic last evening. No action yet that we could tell. As an aside, there was a pretty good south wind last evening. The aroma from the feedlot is going to be fairly overpowering at times Here. Thank goodness for bio defense mode.

If it’s like the Sonic in Russell there is a public restroom as well.
Drove by Sonic this past Friday (7/7) on my way to Colorado and didn't see any significant signs of construction. There were some utility flags and paint markings on the concrete, but nothing confirming supercharger construction. No equipment or fencing.
Brother-in-law grabbed a quick pic this morning. By the time I asked him if there was any equipment on site specifically labeled “Tesla” he was already down the road.
From the little we can see here it looks like concrete forms, for prefab units, on the far east street side of the Sonic lot.

And now for your Sunday afternoon update. As we can see again dirt work has begun along with some concrete. No items on site labeled “Tesla” yet.
I stepped into the Sonic. There are restrooms available inside. Posted picture of hours.
Also the truck stop to the east is a very short walk. In fact I walked over from the IHOP, located in the truck stop, to grab these pics. Looking forward to seeing equipment on site.
