I can't imagine them wanting to leave all the money sitting out there in boxes for to long. I bet this construction goes extremely fast. I really could have used it last night. I made it home from downtown Sac to Chico with 4 miles to spare (all my fault btw) which required me to drive 45mph on 99 , through a EV desert in between. I should have gone through Rocklin for a 15 minute charge but took the chance.

Great news, Is it just me, but I havent seen these concrete blocks go into the ground before. Maybe this speeds up the install?

Means hooking up the stalls to the charger cabinets.

Seems like this one is flying by. Anyone see if the transformer is onsite or placed? Gigantic green metal box (4x6x5?) with heat fins sometimes on one side

While yes, it is good news, i am still befuddled how Sacramento is getting it's fifth supercharger while Fremont is still waiting for its second?

This is Sacramento's 1st supercharger location. Folsom and Rocklin are close by, but not Sacramento.

Judging from the progress I would say it would be completed in a month or less. The Local Utility SMUD. Is pretty responsive for transformer placements which is usually the long lead it to turn up of a site

Folsom and Rocklin are "out of the way" when travelling I-5.
