Work continues. The conduit is in and the bases are in place. Looks like it may be 15 stalls currently. The packing list also stated “15 Picked”.

I would see no reason that it won't be ready in less thank 2 month provided the utility company is ready to supply the transformer
I don’t think it will take more than 2 months and probably less. Getting ready for concrete now.

Interesting. In the similar Harlingen installation most of that was filled in with dirt first, and the concrete just for the pads for the V3 cabinets and transformer within the square wood frames.
One difference is that the Harlingen installation was built into an existing landscaped bed in the parking lot whereas here they cut into the pavement. In Harlingen they did have to pour a new curb for a small part of the bed because it was widened around the pads for the boxes.
Were there still big piles of dirt nearby? They look to have been removed because the pavement has really been cleaned up here.

The excavated dirt had been removed. I would expect them to backfill before pouring the concrete with some “higher quality” fill. The material removed was full of large rocks and not great to use around their conduit.
Right, that makes sense. The previous piles contained big chunks of broken up pavement too.
It also looks like there is a tunnel under the pavement to a section behind that they are routing the power lines through, and that needs to be filled.

That’s pretty amazing! I guess they have to pack that in hard enough to replace the pavement on top.
I guess they had to extend the curb/plant bed too.

Some striping and parking stops/bumpers (definitely needed for this configuration!) and the signs and labels, and they look good to go.
Well, a prior image did not show a utility transformer, so that may still be missing.

They have only ever had 15 charging posts on site. The stalls are all back in. The CPS transformer hasn’t been installed yet. It will go next to the white cabinets. The conduit for it is installed and the trench across the road to the electrical pole has been filled. Signs are up. Still a bit more work to do.
Looks like that first cypress died, unfortunately, sometime between July 6 when it was green, and July 20.
