Or they wanted to have a stall usable pull-in with a large rear-mounted bike rack (there doesn't look like room there for a proper trailer without getting in the way).Interesting pedestal arrangement for those first two spots opposite the building. I guess they didn't want the first pedestal sticking out too far into the parking lot?
This station is getting very close. Lights on the posts are not yet illuminated but the charge handle button opens the charge port, then red indicator and error message (but car recognizes it as a supercharger). Hopefully early next week! Was able to swing by again today and saw somebody onsite with measuring tape inspecting the stalls. He said final inspection is Fri or next Mon, light-up should be next week. Fingers crossed.
Really need it up asap. Hopefully soon. This station is getting very close. Lights on the posts are not yet illuminated but the charge handle button opens the charge port, then red indicator and error message (but car recognizes it as a supercharger). Hopefully early next week!
That pin is not representative of the actual site location. The pin is attached to the "Tustin" label on the map. The real site could be anywhere in that city.Just saw another sc on Tesla site scheduled for q4 2021 open. Anyone nearby el Camino real & main st maybe can scout and confirm worksite.

It's not that irregular for Tesla's database updates showing a new site going active to fail to remove the old "coming soon" pin that was placed at the city name. Most likely that is what's happened here and that "coming soon" pin is referring to the supercharger which this thread is discussing. This error usually gets cleared up within a month or so. So check back on the map in 2 weeks and if it's still there, then you can reasonably start hoping it means there's another Tustin supercharger somewhere in the works. But as miimura correctly pointed out, it won't be exactly where the grey pin is on the map, that's just a generic placeholder. That pin is not representative of the actual site location. The Tustin supercharger opened on November 16th, which is when Tesla's database was updated and the red pin was newly placed on Tesla's map in the real location of the supercharger. That was 2.5 weeks ago.it's been there for more than a month
It’s for q4 so may not see anything until q2.Did a quick scan of Tustin's permitting website. I couldn't find anything Tesla related that was created over the past 6 months.
