nice!!! Quanah is only 8 and the restroom is closed outside business hours and it's a walk to the truck stop.... so Vernon sounds way better plus more stalls

so for me it's going to be Fort Worth and one stop in Vernon on the way to Amarillo in the future.... now if only Tesla could fix the phantom braking on hot / sunny days on US-287 ....

Vernon, TX should open any day now. They took down the fence and were power washing on my last visit.

Its on the truck fuel island side of the gas station. So when it opens, you'll have to deal with the Semi trucks coming and going.

I haven't noticed a transformer in those photos, so I'm guessing that is what it needs to open? It would be nice if it was open by next week...

Or the app. Or people just speculative check on them. Or you see somebody like PLUSEV or Bighorn posting that they're passing through the area.

In the small towns and roadside SCs look for the utility pole near by, if you see the fuse cartridge in the up position at the top of the pole that means the Utility co has delivered power to the transformer and electric rep and inspector is there to "green tag" it. That usually happens with the Electric contractor and the meter installation at the same time. Larger cities may all be underground. I will really like this SC for ski trips from DFW

We stoped by today and the Transformer is in place, as is the Meter, so it should be open any time now. The meter was unpowered.

Went thru again this week. Don't think it's on yet.

Stopped by yesterday. There is no more equipment parked in front of the chargers, but they are not yet operational. Plugged in my car just to test, and no charging initiated.
