I talked to a friend and they drove by today. They said the chargers were uncovered (last I saw 2-3 weeks ago they were individually covered). I see that as a positive sign.
Sorry, the Meter has not been installed. the gray box is the meter receptacle housing. It’s been attached to the Switchgear cabinet since December. Also the Main Transformer is still not installed. It is supposed to be located behind the green cabinet in view. What is interesting is the presence of the Sunbelt rental Generator unit. They must need a temporary Power supply for further system testing while they wait for the real Transformer to be installed.
When folks visit, the thing to look for would be a transformer on what is (presumably) still an empty transformer pad, plus a meter installed in the gray meter socket on the side of the green switchgear cabinet. The report by @DMC5180 from 4/19 stated the transformer was still not onsite. Until both of those items are present, the site can't be energized and commissioned by Tesla.
April 29 2023 Update: 4 months since my last visit. Sadly, still no transformer. However, they’ve finally marked out the Pad location. Hopefully we see something by the end of May or sooner.
I actually drove by today and there was equipment to dig and pour pads. I was driving by in heavy traffic so I couldn’t take a pic. But there is activity.
