System Boot Issue

Is anyone having an issue where when you get in the car and put it in gear, the touchscreen doesn’t come on for several seconds? Also, twice in the last 3 days, I’ve had no sound. The music interface just sits there and “spins”. There’s no sound including the turn signals and Bluetooth speaker phone. Thoughts?

I've had this happen rarely (maybe once per month or less), if you are getting it more frequently you may have a problem. Have you tried doing a reset (foot on brake + both scroll wheels)?

You can actually reset the screen (soft reset?) while you are driving with both scroll wheels.

Drive unit is not affected.

I have done it a few times driving and a service technician told me it was ok

To fix the no sound issue, put the car in park, go to the safety screen and power off the car. Wait 10 seconds, then press the brake pedal or open a door to wake up the car and sound should work again.

If you have the time, wait 3+ minutes before pressing the brake pedal, that seems to do a more complete reset.
