Tesla App 4.25.0 - Wall Connector Support

Under the "My Home" page (Swipe right to left on "Tesla" Main Screen, Select Charge History. Mine shows the history. Maybe try a reinstallation is needed. Delete the app and re-add it.

I’m really disappointed that you can’t fully control the wall connector from the app. Things like adding a VIN to your allow list and other settings controlled from the WC’s admin website are things I was hoping to be able to control via the app.

I bet those features will be part of incremental updates. Be patient.

@Sconner -- I agree. A couple of years ago, you could access all features, including configuration,Status, and statistics, by going directly to the Wall Connector in your browser. We are almost back to this thru the App. There must have been some security issues with just going directly to the wall connector in your browser.

I edited my post to say where I found it. It's apparently located differently if you have Powerwall(s).

I just got this setup and it's pretty cool but the setup was a little clunky on Android. It will be nice to see what they add in future updates. I dont have any real need for an app for it but I do like to geek out on stats. I already used Tewamo (for android) to connect to get some stats but the Tesla app GUI is way cooler looking

+1 for failing to add my wall connector via my iPhone… and succeeding via a WiFi-only iPad running the same version of the app.

It’s nice to be able to see the charging history, but I’m disappointed in the access control. I can add more users to have access to the wall connector, but I was hoping to be able to control which cars can charge at my wall connector, just as you can do from the connector’s built-in web interface.

Currently using Tesla app on Android, version 4.26.5-2027 to see the J1772 Gen 3 Wall Connector. The Tewamo app is better for seeing all the stats, temperatures.

Hope this is the right place. I have a wall connector for my MY and we just got an Audi Q4 Etron. I’ve changed the access to “all vehicles” on the wall connector and in the app under charging I have granted my wife access as a user. Does she have to do anything to start charging in the Tesla app?

You just need the proper adapter and it should work when you plug it in without any need for the app or doing anything else. Depending on the adapter it might take up to a minute for it to start charging a non-Tesla though.

Thanks E90Alex. I guess it means anyone can now charge at the wall connector… I thought there was still some access control.
