For those who get approved in DCU and then matched by Tesla - what did you send as a proof of approval to them to match?

Tesla page said 2.99% when I hit the submit button an hour ago. A few minutes later it approved me at 2.75%. I’ll probably work with DCU when I get closer to delivery date on a rate match. I figured 2.75% is worst case scenario now.

Yep I just saw today right when I was about to go with DCU at 2.49. The rate was effective today.. See if you can get it repriced.

That sounds like the way to go. I’m going to work on that angle.

Most places have a time period to keep your pre approval loan grace period. Mine is 60 days.... some do 120 days some do less.
If you do multiple car loan requests (I think within 1 week) it all counts as one hit on your credit report.
So, it doesnt hurt to get a guaranteed rate and then shop around for a better rate.
Just be aware it is difficult to apply for loans in person at the banks, because of the virus precautions. (Some dont do online)
