Tesla mandatory software update

The user interface of Tesla version 7 and below looks so nice, unlike the flatness in version 9. I wish there is a way to downgrade the software, or at least block new updates?

On Apple devices, Apple "signs" the software of iOS devices so you can't downgrade. But in terms of Tesla software, does Tesla "sign" the software?

I heard they no longer verify against old software versions so at times supercharger and other information is updated and causes the car software to crash in a looping fashion too. If you want to avoid upgrading - time to root

need to find your own way or convince (or pay - there are paid options I heard) somebody else to do it for you.

Tesla does sign the firmware for quite some time now.
