The VIN is generally allocated just before the car is assembled (after all parts and options for the build have been allocated). When you get a VIN, the car will generally be shipped in 3 to 5 days.

Many people here ordered 1/27 after the refresh announcement. Others still waiting ordered as far back as November.

There's a whole bunch of speculation but nobody knows for sure. We do know about the delays and full production hasn't started.
Chances seem pretty slim deliveries will begin prior to May.

Highly doubtful, theres 10 days left and not a single post about anyone being contacted to schedule delivery.

To be fair, the majority of owners are likely not hanging out on TMC, so it’s possible a car gets delivered, or VIN assigned without us knowing. But, word spreads fast...

While that’s true it’s also possible that the majority of the first orders came from people on this forum. Aka people who were closely following the news and rumors.
We also have a lot of California residents on here who will no doubt be among the first to get their cars, and still no word from them.

exactly, im 2 hours away from the factory, i would expect to be one of the 1st just due to proximity.... but who knows!
