Honelink was there on old app too.New features:
-Touch ID for start car for function (instead of password)
-Mileage info
-FW info
-Homelink button in summon screen

You can install our site as a web app on your iOS device by utilizing the Add to Home Screen feature in Safari. Please see this thread for more details on this.

I think Tesla's servers are just overloaded with everyone updating the app and playing with it. It should "normalize" within a few days.Looks like a few people above are having the same issue of no being able to connect to the car like me.
