I have one.
Its not as reliable as my card nor my phone, but its a good emergency backup that works maybe 1 out of 10 tries.
I'm not sold on touching a ring to the b pillar. Seems like it would make scratches and dings on a black surface that wont hide them well. Ill stick to the phone with a card key in the wallet for backup.
Right hand, for US or left-hand drive vehicles, would be the proper side to wear even if you weren't married. Eventually you'll get into the car (using the ring) and dilly-dally around long enough for the car to request you "badge in" with the keycard on the center console. It's easier to tap the console with a right-handed ring, rather than swing your left arm across your body.Wife did not want me to replace my wedding band so I wear it on the right hand. She says I look like I married two people. ha ha.
For $100, I'd rather spend $50 more and get the new proximity key fob.
I think you're missing the point. People want to carry one less thing, not add another that will have to sit in a pocket, purse, whatever, that can be lost (easier than a ring).
I ordered mine from this link on September 6th and received it today, September 21st! I was expecting it to take another 2 weeks before I got it. Very nice quality and works just like a key card!I also found this one: https://www.teslaring.com/
About the same price, still a bit too much in my opinion.
I know this is kind of an old tread but where did you purchase the ring from? I have not being able to find one with a logo like that.My wife got the white. I got the black. Went to a jewelry store for proper sizing. Took about a month.
Is it a Cnick?I know this is kind of an old tread but where did you purchase the ring from? I have not being able to find one with a logo like that.
