Tesla NERFS I-40

Don’t try to cross NM/AZ on I-40for the next week.

Tesla has taken down BOTH the Gallup NM and Holbrook AZ super chargers for “scheduled maintenance”. WTF Tesla ! I’m halfway between Albuquerque and Gallup when the Nav goes nuts (when Tesla disabled Gallup).

Impossible to make the jump from Alb to Flagstaff (550 miles) in ANY Tesla.

Service suggested I charge overnight at a Campground. I suggested a Flatbed to Flagstaff. They gave me a one finger salute.

$600 B market cap company controlled by the richest man on the plant oils do better.

Turned out not too bad. Gallup was in fact back on line when we got there (although the Nav system, Tesla website, and roadside assistance all continue to report it out of service). Charged up to 95% and made the jump to Flagstaff so didn’t see Hollbrook.

Just more “bad communications” and “beta software” I guess.

Albuquerque to Flagstaff is showing up as 323 miles for me on Google Maps.

Right you are. Another NAV failure. Couldn’t make 323 in my P85D either.

The V3 chargers in Holbrook were temporarily offline for maintenance. The four original V2 chargers remained online and working.
