I got this invitation today (links removed). My reservation is for the Model X, and I've already driven the S once, but if it was in Santa Barbara rather than San Luis, I'd probably do it again. Interesting to see they're generating demand outside areas with stores.

Your driving session will be 20 minutes long over a predetermined route designed to highlight the capabilities of Model S. A Tesla Product Specialist will accompany all drives to answer questions and ensure you optimize your time in Model S. You may bring up to three guests to ride in the back seat during your drive. Yeah I talked with one of the staff yesterday. It sounds like they're planning multiple drive events throughout this summer. Expect more. Some of them very tailored to your region.
