Dutch highest court ruled in December that the government has to obey a 25% CO2 reduction (since 1990) by the end of 2020.
They are at 15% now.
The government will come out with specifics to reach this goal in March. Shutting down coal plants is a way the reduce a lot of CO2, but so is replacing ICE with EVs. Maybe last quarters dutch EV rally could repeat itself in the coming quarters with new incentives.
