Tesla often moves at multiples to the market.
Please I don't need to be told how TSLA moves, been investing in it for over 8 years.

Anyone saying TSLA isn't trading on it's own right now are probably the same people that say TSLA's trading never gets altered by options :rolleyes:

So tiring to have this discussion time after time after time
 
Elon neutralized the poison pill with the mere suggesrion of a tender offer, one which would involve current shareholders transfering their 2:1 share rights to Elon with the sale of their existing shares, at the original price of $52.40 (the Board was effectively put on notice they were going to be made irrelevant, and risked being sued by shareholders).

Am I presuming wrong that all takeovers of publically traded companies involve a tender offer ?
Is the point here that Musk offered a stock price premium that was juicy enough to entice adequate current stockholder value ?

That would explain the capitulation, but not the outcome of the poison pill. It was said above that Musk avoided triggering the poison pill by having co-investors. Is that correct ?
