Splurged today to celebrate my 10 years of owning TSLA (actually in May, but negotiations take time).
An offer was accepted on this beauty...
But since I am a nice guy, I splurged some more and ordered a Model Y LR with FSD for each of my sisters. Lucky, I only have two sisters.

The EPS beat seemed baked in after hearing the P&D numbers. Margins are what are my concern. Looks like it's not great but not so bad as to sink the stock,
Tesla reports sequentially lower quarterly gross margin — Reuters. Trying to cover up that this is a massive beat of expectations
She has a name already, I'll keep it to honour the builder who did a fabulous job.

This is it. The buying opportunities are over. There is only one way for TSLA to go from here on. If the price cuts and inventory discounts and the upcoming refresh couldn’t bring down profit, nothing can. I’m holding all my shares till the 420 party.

Market has a problem deciding what they think. Don't think I've seen the AH price switch direction so many times so quickly after other reports.
Haha, we have the call for the stock sinking. Usually the call is negligible for post earnings price action, however Tesla always manage to move...lots of time to the downside.

Of course CNBC isn't calling this an earnings beat. Here's how they're describing it:
- Earnings: 91 cents per share adjusted. That may not compare with the 82 cents per share expected by Refinitiv.

Some days Tesla has a dirty job to tackle, but somebody has got to do it.
Operating margin of 9.6% is low but the gross margin of 18.2% is nice, and the EPS of 0.91 is a beat. Overall this is great, Q2 was always going to be our worst quarter this year given the price cuts, so it's up from here on out most likely. If this is our bottom then we are doing fantastic!!!
