Okay, so the upgrades include:

• New colors
• Fan cowling - got that already
• Windshield weather stripping - got that already
• PEM/motor fan upgrade - will happen in the next couple of months
• Xenon headlamps - I'm getting that installed with the fan upgrade (at extra cost)
• New mobile connectors - I would hope so!

So as far as existing Roadster owners are concerned, this is mostly stuff they've already done, or are in the process of doing. I guess it makes sense to fluff up the press release as much as they can, but basically they have some new colors and some new extra-cost charge cables available.

"A rear snow cover" I wonder what that is?

I talked to somebody at Tesla NY today because they scheduled a date to replace my PEM and motor fans. They said the rear snow cover is a shield that will be installed between the wheels and the fans to prevent snow and other debris from being driven into the fans. I'm scheduled to have this done in a couple weeks but if anyone sees it before I do, please post some pics.

She also mentioned that the windshield seals, rear fans, snow cover, and front fan cowl is being upgraded on any car that comes in for service.

Just had the fan shroud added to the radiator. Was told it would not really help cabin cooling. Maybe that's just a 1.5 thing.

They did this on the 2.5's as well.
