With these dates you think I should wait? I ordered May 20th… Was told last week that I should have vin by end of July early August and still nothing…

I am wondering if Giga Texas will make 7 seaters in the first few production runs since they will be smaller scale and the 5 seaters out of Fremont until Giga Texas scales up. According to this article they are going to start limited production runs in Austin in the next two months, Tesla Giga Texas expected to start Model Y production test runs in coming weeks.

7/27 but was able to find one somehow with existing inventory yesterday using the teslas site. My initial order (same config) was moved from October to Dec. There were a LOT of inventory on 7 seaters in the Bay Area according to the inventory lookup on Tesla.com

Just keep refreshing haha. There were 3 at the time. One white, blue and red. I snagged the red since all the others went fast.

To be honest, I had never seen them there either, I thought it was an error since they would show up and then disappear the MINUTE I clicked "buy" and figured it was just a weird issue since It kept defaulting to 95113 zip vs mine (here in MN) but then BAM one actually worked. There was a white one too which I wanted but red is just fine.

Use ev-tsla site or Ev-cpo they will display all inventory regardless of zip. There may be some lag.
