How far through the stop renewal options did you go through for that to work. Not sure I’ve got the balls in case there’s no going back.

I was committed as I had a renewal that was about £80 lower then what they offered online when I went to cancel. I stayed with them as it wasn’t worth cancelling for £80.

Ive read online that all car insurance policies are shooting up - the reasons are due to inflation, i.e. body-shop labour rates, parts, energy, car hire etc.

My wife had a small bump her work carpark with a parked vehicle earlier this year, the other car needed a replacement headlamp, hers needed some minor bodywork repair to a single panel. The insurance paid £4,400 for the claim! Madness.

was that AFTER you got your original insurance quotes for the Tesla? If so that might go a long way to explain why they have doubled!

I would recommend LV. Seems to be very good rates and I found that they are quick to answer the phone.
