So call me psychic, but this is a heads up to check out Fusion's "America with Jorge Ramos" tomorrow Tues Sept 9 at 7pm PT/10pm ET, they are going to air a feature story on Leilani Munter's Electric Route to the Racetrack in her Model S to Chicagoland Speedway and her PrairieGold Solar race car.

I didn't notice during the episode, but thanks to these photos, I see that the push-bar was not always on the front of the car...

Apparently they removed it, whenever the car had to actually move...?

You're right! They made a last second substitution for the blow-up scene. My faith in Hollywood is restored (somewhat).

Not in the movies or on TV, but last weekend at the Bertha-Benz-Challenge 2014 between Frankfurt and Karlsruhe.

Okay, not a Model S, but I think worth mentioning: Star Trek Deep Space Nine (I believe it's Season 4, episode 13-14? circa 1995 airing). Changelings are threatening Earth, and right there in front of Star Fleet headquarters in San Francisco is a HyperLoop tube (and shuttle)! Oh, Elon.

1) Main baddie "disabling" his Tesla by unhooking some wires from a box mounted in the frunk's doghouse.
2) Sheriff getting a shotgun out of his Tesla police car's frunk.
3, 4,) Tesla County Sheriff car shots.
5) BMW i8 peeking at us on the right.
6) Sheriff going for donuts (note the retractable push-bar that's not in the other shots).

A Signature Model S in tonight's episode of "The Strain." It was just used as a car however. The fact that it was a Tesla had no impact on the story whatsoever.
