You would have to get 255/40 size to keep approximately the same rolling radius. But as mentioned above you may notice a loss of range/efficiency. And from my experience putting wider tires on std OEM rims on other cars, it never improved handling. Rims should typically be as wide or slightly wider for best handling which is what you see on most performance cars.
This has never been asked
Just drove off the tire shop, Discount Tires and first impressions with these Michelin Cross Climate Plus is wow! Super quiet compared to the OEM tires and feels and drive great! Also plenty of tire wall that sticks out past the wheel to prevent wheel rash.

Yes they do feel a little stiffer probably because they are new, they said the tire pressure to 41 PSI, I will need to go to 46. I prefer more roll.Wheels look awesome with those tires!! Does the sidewall feel any stiffer?
Post a link on this, I couldn’t find anything on Amazon or Google.Y’all really need to AutoX your cars. It will teach you where the wheels are and you’ll never curb them again....well...that might be an overstatement but it’s a great excuse to AutoX if you need one.
This is not me...but AutoX is not an item, it’s an event. You learn where your tires are because if you don’t, you hit cones and lose time.Post a link on this, I couldn’t find anything on Amazon or Google.
