This MX looks very similar to the one I looked at one month ago. If it is located in the Midwest it may be the one that was on display at Somerset Mall in Michigan. We are not allowed to have Tesla dealerships in Michigan so they have showroom in the mall. That car was on display for 3-4 months. I had looked at it when the 1st quarter had ended. The seats where in rough shape. The gentleman at the show room predicted that during each month approximately 250k people sat in it which he stated was equivalent to 30 years of wear and tear on the seats. I think the picture of the seat you showed is after it was cleaned.P100D MX 50 miles 6 seaters White on White 22" Wheel AP $98K

I now have to point out: You didn't multiply by 3-4 months, nor factor in the multiple seating positions (advisors would get in car with you), nor adjust for the increased wear I put on it (well, a previous one) trying to find a position where the sugar headrest didn't dig into my shoulders.Just have to point out the terrible math this sales dude used. Let's say the showroom is open 12 hours/day, 10a-10p, every day. That's 12*30 = 360 hours/mo. For 250k people to sit in this car, that'd be 250k / 360 = 694/hour, or 11.6/minute. One person every 5.2 seconds. Every 5.2 seconds, from open to close, every day.
Not true.

Oops, my bad.Dude said per month, not per quarter. He's wrong. Anyway, this is OT.

This doesn’t show in the home screen of your account. It’s on the completed task section.
Longtime forum stalker, soon to be new MX owner.
Placed my order 5/9, received text on 5/22 for delivery the following week. My Tesla account was updated after I received the text with the VIN.
Did u guys have to update the other options on your account page in order to get these updates? All I did was place order and that was it. I just now got an email from a different Tesla rep (mine is in NJ) this email came from someone in Las Vegas sayin they need more info from me. Proof of insurance, license photo, payment method and trade in info. I texted my advisor to see if I should proceed. I dont want to mess up anything on my end by doing so without him telling me. (The added Carbon interior & new price reduction) just curious.
Ok. Thanks. I’ll fill out what I can then. I can’t imagine it hurting anything. My rep seems to take days to respond to any of my communication attempts.@davezforce the ONLY thing I could not fill out on the initial "Prepare for Delivery", was the Insurance. And that is because in NJ, you have to have the actual car (VIN) on the insurance. So we cannot submit that until the VIN is provided. Picture of license, payment info, everything else was completed.
Now, I have yet to receive any delivery date or ANYTHING much less the VIN yet.
Definitely do as much as you can on your end. Do not wait for them to tell you anything - it will only delay things further.Ok. Thanks. I’ll fill out what I can then. I can’t imagine it hurting anything. My rep seems to take days to respond to any of my communication attempts.
