no really, I never thought they had fake wood for that price, in my 3 it looks real and thought its the same in X. Never drove an X so really no idea on material.
now I will reduce my expectation for Tuesday.

So after getting a message about issues registering the car and a date of 29th of June I had heard no more of the registration as of today so I went down and asked.
It appears some MX have the same certification issue in Norway as has happened in the US but he confirmed that it was ok now and they would ask the delivery guys prioritise it so I might get it early next week.
I also got the new price applied as I ordered just before they lowered it and tonight the VIN suddenly appeared on the web page and not just on the invoice so something is happening.
I can almost smell the new car!

I read here on the fora that in Belgium the homologation was also not ready last week. Should be ok as of this week.
Just fyi.
Will they have already shipped the cars to Europe though in anticipation of this or will they still be in the USA awaiting confirmation of homologation?
I ordered end of April in Sweden, still no VIN. Are you saying that my car might be already produced and shipped to Europe?
Tried to talk to both delivery specialist and my sales rep MULTIPLE times but they completely lack any insight into what's going on and just tell me to wait until I see a VIN in my account before they can tell me when to expect the car.
Right now I don't know if the car will show up in July, August or September..

I only meant that if the car was ready, Tesla would not wait with shipping because the homologation is not ok in the country of the buyer.
It would ship the car and then it would be held waiting for homologation in the country of the buyer.
At least that is what I understood from the Tesla buyers that are in that position.
I hope your car is also almost there but I do not know that.
AFAIK when you get the VIN, the car is manufactured and ready. Then it has to be shipped, registered, insured etc.
The issue with my car is a certification thing and the car is actually standing in store 50 km from me so they will produce the car and ship it regardless.
Not having a VIN after ordering in April sounds weird, maybe Sweden is not prioritised. In any case I ordered in the start of May and got the VIN by the start of June.
If it was me I would consider canceling the order and make a new order but I'm not sure it would help. I see on the custom order webpage if I order one now they estimate delivery in July.
I forgot tot ask... Did you check for a VIN in the source code of that page? Press Ctrl+U and search for "vin":

Cancelling and re-ordering will definitely not get me a car faster. It'll turn up eventually.
Every other Swede that ordered their Tesla after raven was announced are still waiting for a VIN, at least the ones I've talked to. I just find it weird.
When I placed my order I recall it saying June delivery.
No VIN in the source code.

Anyone able to reach Tesla Deliveries right now? I've called a few times today, and it always says they're closed. Then the voice prompt says they have office hours today from 8A to 5P PST (I called around 10A and 2:30P). Something going on with deliveries department?
That happened to me before so I call them and when prompted to I connected over to sales and had them connect over to delivery.
