Has anyone else received their Motor Vehicle Purchase Agreement? VINs seem to be coming out but not the contract.

I ordered 4/24 and I’m in LA. I have a VIN on detail page as of today.

My VIN is between 160000-162000. I was supposed to pickup original X on 4/24 and then canceled and reordered the newer version.
Finally got in touch with burbank delivery center yesterday (5/15) afternoon. they said my 5/17 delivery date was still tentative and that they had to check with logistics team to see if the car would actually be there.

Latest update... Received financial docs to sign in tesla account and called Burbank for update. Delivery person said car will not be ready tomorrow and likely not here this weekend. He didn't have any info other than that he could tell it was not yet on a truck or in transit.
He was, however, able to confirm that my car entered production on 4/29 which means it would be the new build. He has not yet seen nor delivered the newer build.

Ordered new model with 6 seat configuration on Apr 26th, Got a text from Tesla team (on may 14th) that it is scheduled for delivery on May 21st. Called the delivery specialist to confirm, seems like VIN/MVPA was generated on May 15th. Sent the MVPA to the bank. Now awaiting delivery.

I ordered my MX on May 5th and have not gotten any further info from tesla. I called my DS to see if I can order an off menu carbon fiber and they said they can do it for $250. I received a phone call today from tesla stating they cannot do add the carbon fiber to my MX because it's not a MX performance If I can carbon fiber trim I have to get it after delivery for $1500. I've asked them how come I have not received any info regarding my MX build and they said due to the new changes they are not building the MX to order, they are "mass" producing them and seeing if they can match to the customers car specs. I don't know how credible that is....

Ordered my XLR 5 seater just a couple days later. No VIN yet, and it doesn’t look like they are populating on the tracker. Could be folks not updating, could be delays - who knows.

I’d be coming apart at the seams if it were down to a week to delivery!

Who knows, but that seems like a pretty sketch approach. If my math is correct they have 270 different configurations to match between base model, exterior color, interior color, layout, and self-drive options. At that point - it’s matching a configuration - now figure in how many sales there are and you and up with the proverbial lottery.

135. All cars are physically the same regardless of FSD choice, so that piece doesn't impact configs. They can modify that at any time. Not that this negates your point--135 is still a lot at this volume.

You could probably pull wheels out of your math too. It is easy to swap wheels on a car. All the software updates and things like wheels are easy to change on a car. it is the color, seats/interior, motor count, and battery size that is the real variables.

For people in Bay Area taking deliveries, did you get an option to pick delivery at Fremont location ? I called the service specialist and he told they have stopped doing deliveries from Fremont location. All deliveries are current done direct to customers home.

Same here. Asked if I can get it delivered to a showroom but only option was to get it delivered straight to my house.

When I placed my order it said it would be delivered to my house. Still haven’t heard anything still from them. I’d rather it go to a service center, then I can inspect and refuse if there is damage or something is wrong. Otherwise I’d be Leary to see what happens with home delivery a then refusing a damaged vehicle.

i spoke to Fremont delivery specialist on Wednesday. he said i was scheduled to pickup my MX this Tuesday. no mention of home delivery. who knows? another mystery

Funny--I went 26 months between reserving my 3 and delivery, and the wait wasn't too bad until the very end.

It's been 26 hours since I ordered my X, and the wait is killing me. I've completed all the steps in my account other than financing, and keep refreshing hoping to find a VIN...

Funny to see so many of you getting your delivery dates so soon. I ordered my P100X March 19 and just now getting a possible delivery for this Tuesday. Luckily for the delay my build started May 2nd, competed May 10th with all the refreshes. There’s a delivery issue going on since it was supposed to ship from the factory but still has not left. My DS said to call tomorrow to make sure the delivery took place and is still on schedule.
