In Cali, you must have at least 2 mirrors, left sideview is required. who even knows what a manufacturer plate means

A side mirror could have perhaps helped avoid clipping the sign seen in post #3 in this thread. After a while, you learn to glance in the side mirror to steer the back clear of objects that would get clipped on tight turns.
